Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP)

The Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study is required by Federal law to develop a regional long range transportation plan. The plan must look at least 20 years into the future, and be updated no less than every five years. The LRTP serves as a blueprint that guides transportation development over a 25-year period for the Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study’s planning area.
